Our processing of personal data

Pritec Vaculyft AB (“Pritec Vaculyft”), corporate registration number 556375-8621 (“we”, “us” and “our”), with address Fjärås industriväg 9, SE-439 74 FJÄRÅS, and its subsidiaries, is the data controller for the processing of your personal data.

Personal data we process about you

Your personal data has in most cases been collected either directly from you when contacting Pritec Vaculyft or from your employer in connection with the business relationship between us and your employer. We may also collect personal data about you from other sources. The personal data we process is usually name and position as well as contact information such as email address, telephone number and company address.

Purpose and legal basis for processing your personal data

Business contacts (i.e. customers, suppliers, business partners):

When you contact us for business purposes, we process your personal data for the purpose of providing the services and products specified in the contract. This processing is done to fulfill our contractual obligations towards you.

Your personal data may also be processed in accordance with the agreement to handle orders, invoices, payments and administration of the contractual relationship, manage deliveries and for other informative purposes.

We also process your personal data based on a balance between your interest in privacy and our legitimate interest in being able to market our products and services. This processing may include sending newsletters, information about our courses, seminars and other events, and other direct marketing. We always offer you the opportunity to unsubscribe from our direct marketing.

When processing personal data for accounting purposes, such as invoicing or payment for services or products, the processing is based on legal obligations under the Accounting Act (or equivalent legislation in other countries).

We only process your personal identification number in cases where it is necessary for the processing or for secure identification, e.g. if you are a sole proprietor.

Potential business contacts:

We process your personal data when you contact us or when you have asked us to contact you. The purpose of our processing is to assist you with questions about our company, our services and products. This processing is based on a legitimate interest, where our interest is to assist future business contacts and other interested parties by answering questions and providing information.

We may also process your personal data for direct marketing purposes that are relevant to you as a professional. This processing is based on a legitimate interest in informing potential customers about services and products that may be of interest and thereby supporting our future business operations. This processing may include sending newsletters, information about our courses, seminars and other events, and other direct marketing. We always offer you the opportunity to unsubscribe from our direct marketing.

Our use of Cookies

When you use our website, we may process personal data in the form of your IP address through the use of Cookies.

Our use of surveillance cameras

At certain properties where we operate, such as Pritec Vaculyft's premises, we may have installed surveillance cameras in order to prevent criminal acts such as burglary and vandalism. There are information signs on the affected properties indicating that camera surveillance is in place. The recordings are saved for a few weeks before they are automatically deleted.

Who can access your personal data?

Your personal data may be shared with a limited number of external parties who process your data on our behalf, such as our IT and system suppliers. We have entered into data processing agreements with all external parties to ensure that personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

How do we protect your personal data?

We, and where relevant the personal data processors working on our behalf, have taken several security measures to protect the personal data being processed. We have firewalls and anti-virus software to prevent unauthorized access to our networks and systems. Our employees have clear instructions to process all personal data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Only a limited number of employees have access to the systems where personal data is stored, and access requires a username and password.

How long do we store your personal data?

We do not process your personal data for a longer period than is permitted by applicable law, regulation, case law or authority decisions. Personal data that we process to fulfill our contract with you is normally processed for the time necessary to enable us to fulfill all our obligations to you. In order to comply with legal requirements or if we are entitled to do so based on a legitimate interest, we may store your personal data for a longer period as set out below.

Payment information, where processing is required under the Accounting Act, is processed by law for seven years. (Different retention periods may apply in different countries depending on national legislation.) We may also process certain information about your purchase in accordance with applicable legislation for the purchase of goods and services and consumer protection.

Personal data processed on the basis of a legitimate interest for the purpose of carrying out direct marketing may be processed for up to 24 months after our last business contact or until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive our marketing communications.

Personal data processed based on consent is processed until you withdraw your consent.

Your rights

In accordance with applicable data protection legislation, you have the right to request access to the personal data we process about you and the right to request rectification of your personal data. Under certain circumstances, you have the right to request erasure or restriction of your personal data or to object to our processing of your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used format.

You have the right to withdraw any consent you have given to the processing of your personal data, in whole or in part, at any time. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

If you have a complaint regarding our processing of your personal data, you have the right to file a complaint with the national data protection authority. In Sweden, this is the Integrity Protection Authority (IMY), www.imy.se.
